Located in Portland’s South Waterfront, The Matisse is a multifamily mixed use project featuring 274 apartments with ground floor retail and a sub grade parking structure.
American Heating installed the Mitsubishi City Multi VRF for this project which included (34) outdoor heat pumps and (580) indoor fan coils. Over 10,000 feet of refrigerant piping was installed to serve the system. American Heating also designed, programmed and installed the Mitsubishi control system for The Matisse. In addition to the VRF system, American Heating also installed all ductwork, fans and rooftop units.
In order to comply with all the LEED requirements, all ductwork was capped at the end of each day to prevent construction dust from entering the HVAC system.
