Tualatin Valley Fire & Rescue (TVF&R)’s new home is a 38,000 square foot state of the art facility. Designed to last 30 years and withstand major earthquakes, this facility can operate on it’s own for 78 hours if they lose power.
American Heating’s scope included installing an additional 30-ton VAV unit to complement the existing VAV unit and 45 new terminal units to distribute the air amongst the buildings 3 floors. Two floor mounted 10-ton CRAC units were installed in the ground floor data center while their remote condensers were installed on the roof. We also tied into the existing Trane DDC system that was already on site.
Extensive building commissioning was performed on the building to guarantee the building performs as designed. The mechanical system was meticulously reviewed and passed by the independent commissioning agent.
